Favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation ever was one I took with my husband to Sydney, Australia and the Great Barrier Reef. It was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the country! Of course, this was pre-kids.
Next to that, I’d have to say I love Sandestin which is in Destin, FL. Beautiful beaches, pools, family friendly and just some great memories!
Favorite restaurant?
Tough one, but I’ll say Club Grotto here in Louisville, KY. I love their Ahi Tuna and don’t forget their chocolate soufle for dessert!
Cocktail of choice?
Margarita (on the rocks)
Favorite gift to give?
Anything unique and something you can’t find anywhere else. Doing something personalized is great too. Of course, I love to give anything from Squeeze Hugs!
Your favorite personal item?
My i-phone. I don’t think I can live without it.
Style Icon?
Audrey Hepburn
Favorite designer?
For kids – it would have to be Deux par Deux. I love their designs and they are affordable for a “boutique” designer. For adults, I love Milly. They have beautiful dresses that are different but still classic and distinctive.
How do you define style? Any style Advice?
Style is you. Everyone’s style is different and it should be. If you feel comfortable in it, then that is your style.
Top of your style / wardrobe wish list?
Anything that when you put it on, you feel really good about yourself.
What is in your beauty bag?
A hodge podge. I can’t live without my Loreal Voluminous mascara though. I’ve used it for years and it works great and you don’t have to pay the make-up counter prices.
How do you define true luxury?
Vacation! Just getting away with family is a luxury to me. That, and of course taking time for myself for a great mani / pedi.
Favorite mantra?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
What motivates you the most? Who inspires you?
My husband.
Any tips for women wanting to start their own business venture?
Just do it! Make sure you love it and research, research, research. Nothing is ever as easy as it seems. Try to find as many mentors as you can and just go for it!
