What to expect from this PB Class? This invigorating and upbeat class will begin with a warm up – warming up the major muscle groups, core work, and light upper body weight work – followed by stretching. Next we will move to the ballet barre to lengthen and narrow our Thighs. Following thighs, we will lift the Seat and shape the hamstrings. Following the seat section, Ab work will be practiced in the center of the room. In order to create balance, the Back will be strengthened with back extensions. The grand finale is a great section that works your back, abs, thighs, calves, seat, and hamstrings all at once. The class is set to incredible tunes that are perfectly chosen to pair with the fitness work being performed… you won’t even realize the class is over when you finish with final stretching, which brings your heart rate all the way back to your resting rate. Anyone can do a PB class – it is heart healthy, non-impact, and safe!

I have enjoyed the challenge of it, it is like nothing that I have done before. It is amazing that most of the workouts are done without weights, relying only on your own body weight to strengthen and tone your body. Scary thought, I know. I started PB when I was first pregnant with my second child, so it has been about 1 year and half. With some modifications,I was able to still get a good workout while pregnant. It is a great work out post baby, helping to regain strength in the inner thigh, abdominal and seat muscles. I go to PB 3, sometimes 4 times a week. The most immediate results I saw were in my arms and butt!

I noticed after I had been going for a few weeks continually that I felt so much stronger and ‘tighter’ everywhere! Now I feel like it is defining areas more and I am amazed at how much stronger and healthier I feel since I’ve been doing it. The instructors are amazing and each one offers something special and different so you never get bored with the experience. I’m hooked — the benefits are incredible!
