Favorite getaway?
Fripp Island, SC with the kids is the best.  They have great pool complexes as well as a huge beach at low tide.  I also really look forward to returning to Europe, without the kids initially and then with the kids when they get older.

Favorite restaurant?

Jonathon at Gratz Park is special to me.  We had our rehearsal dinner there, in the middle of the restaurant, not long after it opened.  We usually go there on our anniversary and any other time we want to get out for a great meal!

Style icon?

Audrey Hepburn- such a classic style!

Favorite gift to give?

A swaddling blanket by Swaddle Designs for a baby gift, an Automoblox car for a child gift and then a more unique and personal gift for adult friends.

What’s in your beauty bag?

Lots of lipgloss from Sephora!

Favorite hotel?

At this point, pretty much any hotel without my kids.  My daughter is at an age where she will not fall asleep easily anywhere except her own bed!

Cocktail of choice?

Lots of red wine, preferably a Pinot Noir or a Chianti.

Style advice?

Go with what makes you feel great about yourself.

Top of style wish list?

Right now I’m obsessed with vintage bags so I would love to have more  vintage Judith Leiber purses.

Favorite Mantra?

One that I am continually working on is “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”  It’s been a challenge to always remember that as a parent, as well as a business owner.

Favorite part of owning your own business?

Going to market to view and order the next season’s lines is a lot of fun!

Advice when shopping for children?
Even though it tends to be more difficult to shop with your kids, it’s nice to hear their opinion on what you’re buying.  It’s amazing how young some kids are when they begin forming their own style.
